I think every lo-fi indie band was influenced by John. I hear similar vocals to mid 70's Lennon everytime I turn on a indie station.

I was looking at the artwork on an album cover from the 70s just last night while playing side 2. I thought, man, putting that on a little CD cover would be a waste. Then I poked around inside it looking for a lyric sheet. None, but instead pulled out a huge pristine folded poster that I could have hung on the wall if I chose. Two sided. Now you certainly cannot get that in a CD. Or even if you downloaded it, you could not print out one that huge. All included in the price back then.

A friend would hang both the album covers and inserts, then put a black light on them, eerie...
