 Post subject: 14NP4A TUBE SUBSTITUTE

I read that a 14RP4A and 14NP4A will substitute for each other, is that correct? Are the yokes compatible? I am looking at a Westinghouse set to pull the tube for my RCA that has the 14RP4A, any help is appreciated before I purchase it as a waste of time.

I believe the "A" at the end of the number (i.e., 14NP4A) means the CRT has an aluminized face for greater brightness.
