Does anyone have the base pinout for a 3BP1 scope CRT?, I want to put it into my pilot and none of my tube manuals list the basing for this tube.
I have the socket for this tube "14 pin", and I will make an adaptor to plug into the "11" pin 3KP4 socket, this way I can put it back to origional if I ever get a 3KP4.
Thanks for any information you may have.
Bill

------------------
Hi, Bill,
My 1962 Radio Amateurs Handbook lists the 3BP1A base as 14G:
1 = H
2 = K
3 = G
4 = IC
5 = A1
6 = N/C
7 = D3
8 = D4
9 = A2
10 = D2
11 = D1
12 = N/C
13 = N/C
14 = H
As a designator reference, it lists the 3KP4 as base 11M:
1 = H
2 = G
3 = K
4 = A1
5 = D3
6 = D4
7 = A2/G2
8 = D2
9 = D1
10 = N/C
11 = H
Good luck with the swap!
Dean

------------------
I recently put a 3KP11 in a Pilot TV and it seemed to work well. This tube has a bluish white phosphor and the color is a much closer match to the P4 white phosphor than the green P1 phosphor. There is also a P7 phosphor version with an orange screen. The after glow (persistance) would probably be much nore noticable with the P7 type and cause a smeary picture, though. Has anyone else tried the P11 tube?
------------------
