A couple of years ago, my wife's grandparents gave us a Philco television/turntable that they purchased new in Montgomery, AL.
My wife remembers watching the TV until the early 1980's. The set is now not working and I would like to be able to get schematics for it. Where would be the best place to look?
Thanks,
R.L. Smith
------------------
R. L.:
Schematics and complete service information are usually available through Sams publishing http://www.samswebsite.com Early TV information was also available in the Rider's TV series of manuals. Your local library may have one or both of these resources available. If you can provide a model number it is possible that I or someone else here has the schematic and can send it to you.
------------------
Tim
[This message has been edited by Tim (edited 12-30-2000).]

Find the model number, then contact A.G. Tannenbaum at www.agtannebaum.com. They sell Sams Photofacts for all the old sets for around $8 each.
------------------
R.L.:
Thanks for e-mailing me the model number of your set: 53-U1886. It is in Rider's TV volume 11 which is one of the ones that I have. I will scan and e-mail you the schematics. Happy New Year and good luck with the set.

------------------
Tim
