First of all, I've been reading to posts here for a few weeks and I must say that I'm impressed at how knowledgable you folks are!
OK, to the reason for this post. My dad is restoring a 1950 model Zenith (model G2322, chassis 23G22). It has a bad flyback. Where can we find one? I'm told that the Zenith part number is S-16204. Can anyone cross this number to a Thorasdon?
Anyway, thanks for reading!
Vance
------------------
Vance,
Awhile back I got a new old stock flyback for my 1950 Admiral from Radiowilbur@aol.com. He doesn't have cross-reference info. though. Best to get a Sams and it will usually have a few crosses listed in the parts list. Wilbur seems to have a number of flybacks made by Merit.
Hope this helps ~DP
------------------
I tried him and you are right, he has no way of crossing my Zenith number to a Merit number. Anyone out there have a cross reference?
------------------
Vance:
I dug out Sams 98-17 and there are no cross references for this flyback listed in the parts list. Hopefully Bill will come up with one.
------------------
Tim

Thanks for the responses! I received an email from a very nice guy last night who gave me Merit and Stancor numbers. I contacted radiowilber (really pleasant emails) and he has one. I'm getting the check in the mail today.
The Merit number is HVO-11. The Stancor number is A-8268.
Vance
------------------
