Ken
Don't see that model number listed in Sam's.
Is the CRT filament lit? If the filament lights you should be able to get something on the screen. Lack of high voltage will also cause the CRT to be black.
------------------
Norm

Norm,
I haven't pulled the case, just plugged it in for the first time. Will take it to the workbench Monday and see what we have. I had a mini micro before, quite a state of the art for those years being so miniture..

Ken
------------------
Norm,
With the filter on the screen the crt was so dim in this bright room that I couldn't tell if I had a raster. I did have one.. There are 4 adjustments in holes on the side, they aren't marked so hopefully they might be contrast and brightness max's. Will see later. Maybe low voltage too. Rectifiers??

------------------
The set is in Sams set 656 folder 3. I have a mediocre photocopy of parts of it, I could scan the schematic and transistor, tube and control location pages (4) and send to you by email, if you think that might help.
------------------
Brian McAllister
Durham NC
http://oldtech.net
[This message has been edited by Brian McAllister (edited 04-29-2001).]
