Hey all you TV restorers, just thought I'd let you know this. I don't know much about TV restoration but it sounds from the postings that these "flyback transformers" are hard to come by when they burn out. While looking for isolation transformers I found a bunch from the same guy on ebay, with $2 starting bids. Maybe they show up all the time, I don't know, just thought I'd let the TV folks know.
ps. I have no vested interest in case you were wondering! Just thought I saw a bargain.
pps. What is a flyback transformer anyway?? :-)
------------------
Chris

Hi Chris
Flyback transformer are also called Horizontal Output or High Voltage. In a TV they generate horizontal sweep and high voltage for picture tubes.
Unlike power transformers in radios there are much greater differences between these transformers. $2.00 is an excellent price if it is one a person can use.
------------------
Norm
