Many years ago I was in the business of repairing and restoring antique auto radios. In the course of that business I would buy out the contents of old and closed radio and tv shops. I would dispose of anything that was not auto radio related (selling-swapping) that which was of use to me. One of the items I recall was a National B&W television. It was a table model with perhaps a 9 or 10 inch screen. The cabinet was of wood and as I recall had a maple type of stain. It was in great condition. I held onto it for quite a while but at last sold it to a collector who persistently hounded me to let it go. The reason for my post?......Just wondering about the history of National in manufacturing tv's and what model and/or year my set would have been. Thanks, Hal

They manufactured a handful of TVs in the late 1940s:

I picked up one of these National TV-7M "Videometers" this past summer.
