I have a Emerson that I'm trying to decide to part out or restore. It is in rough shape with a severe vertical issue (previously worked on). Lacking info, I may just put it in the attic for a later time. Finances at present don't make it a good gamble to order a Sams if I just wind up selling it off later. The 14" CRT is realy good, the wood cabinet is a hot mess. I drew out the schematic but the current part values aren't close to any other "close" simillar diagrams I have on hand. A schematic showing part values would make this a lot easier.

Thanks

Got it, THANKS. Sorry about the delay. Component show as correct but I now suspect the 6SN7 V. osc being the problen even though it checked good. High plate volts, ht control has no affect, no grid volts.
I will sub and post more latter. Again thanks.

You don't say how old the set is, but if it is old enough to have either wax paper caps or the black plastic case caps you should replace all of them in the vertical oscillator and output stages. The vertical circuits are especially sensitive to even slight leakage in any of the caps.

To have the set be really reliable and work correctly you should replace any paper or black plastic caps in the whole set along with the electrolytic caps.

At this point I'm at the Triage Stage. I want to verify this most problematic issue first. For now I believe a weld is open in the osc section of the 12SN7 (good bad while tapping on tester). Several electrolytics are open and subbed for now to test. All caps will be replaced if the chassis is restored rest assured. For now I'm doing this just for the academia of it all. This is not what I would call a desirable set. It may get parted out or restored, or sold as is , or sold as rectored chassis, time will tell. If this was my only set I would likley be more decisive. For now I have the "sickness" and want to make beauty from ashes and make it run run run.
