Not sure what it is, I've never seen one like it.

Pretty sure we identified this one before but... it's a Crosley 9-407, it's actually a Dumont slumming it in a Crosley cabinet.

In that case I should prefer the Pontiac pedal car for Christmas! :P
But to be able to sit in this car I have to be a few decades younger! :(
I had a DKW convertible, but it looked like an early 50s Cadillac to me.

Happy weekend,
SIXMILLION DOLLARMAN

Yes, if you do a search there was a long thread on this pic. Love these old photos! Those people had good taste. A quality set in the day.

Oh yeah, that car is worth waaay more than the TV now.
You can get a full sized one if you want to ride in it.

1956 car, the TV was at least 8 years old in the photo.

The car Lucy, Ricky, Fred & Ethyl rode to Hollywood in. The convertible model though.

The 1955 is different in many aspects, especially front turn signals, bumper, grille.

The pedal car models the 1956 exactly. Of course, the toy could have been produced for many years. The photo is at least from 1956 but could be later.

Sadly, the dolls are probably more valuable than anything else pictured...

Here is a cool video that shows some home movie footage of this car.

Those old Pontiacs were classic '50's machines, and I'd love to have one, but I always agreed with the critics who say they looked like a fat man wearing suspenders! :D Period Chevrolets put them to shame in styling IMO.

That's a '59 Plymouth to the left.
