Greetings:

Does anyone know for sure if the Rider Television Manual Volume 15 contains the alignment information, parts list and schematic for the Sears Silvertone Television Model 8130 / Chassis 431.202 ?

The Rider television index says 'yes' but I have my doubts. Seems odd to have 1948 television information in a 1955-56 manual.

Thank you.

John

Would you like the scans?

Edited:

I just uploaded the file to my dropbox for you (and anyone else who wants it).

Get it here. https://www.dropbox.com/s/6biq9pn714axf ... 5.pdf?dl=0

Big download, it's all of Riders TV #15.

Wiscojim:

Thank you for providing the Rider schematic for the Sears Silvertone TV model 8130, chassis 431.202.

I have to admit that I'm puzzled by how Sears / Rider released / entered the schematics into the volumes, but that is the Silvertone television that I was looking for. I just did not think that it would be in a Rider volume some 5-6 years after release.

The problem (for me) comes with the merging of the Rider repair notes found in "Successful Servicing"and the series "TV Trouble Cures" with the exact Rider schematic. Otherwise the "Rs" and "Cs" never match up.

Thank you again for sharing the info.

John

Thank you for sharing that Riders manual. I had to change the "?dl=0" to "?dl=1" and then a box popped up to save the PDF.

You're welcome.

I've got the whole digital set, I suppose I really should start selling copies to everyone that doesn't own a complete set of paper manuals.
