Hi all,
I'm looking at a MIB Philco TC47-124 radio. It's still in the original box and supposedly never been used. I can't find much in the way of pricing on this unit. Anyone have a clue what a fair price would be?

What are they asking for it?

The two things going against it are that it's "Leather" covered, and has a clock.

They're asking $75. I'm surprised the clock goes against it. It makes for an interesting design.

According to my Bunis Transistor Radio Guide, $25.00 - $35.00 in VG condition, so they are asking double to triple .

If you would like me to scan the page and send it to you for bargaining leverage, PM your email addy. $75 is way too much, unless you are in love with it.

Thanks much for the info. Is VG the top grade in that book? Being that it’s never been used, if that isn’t the top grade, this might go a little higher. I’m going to have to get that book.

Maybe I'm mistaken... but, wasn't that Bunis book last published in 1996?

There was a clean one up for sale back in December 2016 for $50.00

Correct as usual, Greg, but the surprising thing is, but for a few exceptions, their value range from 22 years ago is still pretty much spot-on.
