Hi Folks, I brought a Motorola Jet Wing off e-bay a few week age (got a GOOD deal this time). The speaker had a hole in it (getting it re-coned). It has a GREAT looking BODY, but needs the name plate and number dial. Does anyBODY know where I can fine those parts?

Yup. Watch eBay listings for a donor set.

Speaker up-date... The repair shop e-mailed me KOOL INFO on the 7X23 radio. It has a 16 ohm voice coil which is not found in most small speakers. It was made by Oxford for Motorola.

Good, now I can send you mine, which I fixed until I broke it!

Anyways, congrats, was there any other issue besides the speaker?

Its My again:HELP, I got my Jet Wing working, but with LOW VOL. I can get nominal vol when I place it next to a Motorola 6X32E antenna with it turned off. (HOW KOOL) How can I get the Jet Wing to work without another radio next to it?

Replacing the Electrolytic's, and doing an RF and IF alignment should peak it out.

That flying wing Motorola transistor radio is very stylish even in today's collector world.
I learned much from this discussion.
