Sams Photofacts #41 info needed
TELL MEWhat is said in #41 about batteries needed to run a lafayette dyna com 23 CB radio. Can someone put a pic of pages saying battery install info. Radio is strange. LOOKS LIKE IT TAKES 12 BATTERIES BUT THEY ARE A BIT TOO TIGHT to fit . Some say it take 10 reg aa batteries with spacers and 12 recharables without spaces. Some say it takes 8 batteries. What the deal on this radio. Can't even find the right manual anywhere. See radio pics

Ron - Welcome to the ARF forums!

Not really a transistor radio, it's a CB that sold for about $120 new. Take a look:
http://www.cbtricks.com/radios/lafayett ... /index.htm

It appears in Sam's Photofact CB-41. - There's a manual available here for $10:
http://hotspotcb.com/books.html

This fellow has one new-in-box. Perhaps he can scan the owner's manual for you"
http://www.kightradio.com/item.php?item_id=225

RadioMuseum says this runs on 12V. - That would be 8 batteries @ 1.5V each:

Hope that helps!

From Sam's CB-41:

Schematic and parts list show 15V for battery source.

Parts list says battery type 1015 -or- E91 -or- E9, ten required.
