I recently picked up a nice Sony CRF160 13 Band Radio and would like to ge a copy of the User Manual for it. I have searched the internet and only came up with Service Manual availability. If anyone has one and would be willing to scan it or make a copy, I would be most grateful. I would be happy to reimburse any costs incurred.

Just realized the the Sams Books are "Service Manuals" and although I need a schematic.......I was principally interested in finding the Sony "USER MANUAL"......so still looking!!

I just got done working on my CRF-160. If you need help with chassis removal, let me know. I had to use the manual. Mine's a poor copy though-let me know if you need anything.

Thanks for the offer......very kind! My radio is working good and I was able to find a Service manual last year. I was suprised at the relative ease the chassis comes out......of course it helps to follow the instructions.

Hi All
Sam's will not mail outsde the USA. Can someone help with a CRF-160 circuit diagram as I am trying to fix a totally dead example.
All expenses paid
Any ideas on the fault will be gratefully received. Operating the on/off switch just allows the interior light to work, no audio, nothing!
I almost have the chassis out of the case but I can't undo the grub screws on the SW wave change switch
