I just aquired a Lafayette Globepacer, 11- Band radio; Model 17-6915 WX and I am looking for service information and schematic for it. I believe that the radio was made by Realtone and branded for Lafayette as an identical appearing radio with the Globepacer name (Model 8812?) was sold by Realtone at the same time. Although the radios look identical, I am not sure if they had a common schematic and specs. If anyone has knowlege or information on this radio, I would be most appreciative hearing about it. I have attached a picture to aid in identification.
Thanks much!

Lafayette never printed or published any service/schematic information on the 17-6915. Realtone/Sound Design requested that all customer repairs be done by them. The Realtone version and the Lafayette-branded version were identical. Never was a hot seller. Many that were sold were returned for a variety of reasons. Many of the 17-6915 units out of the box still had the Realtone tag on them. Some of the sales people referred to it as one of the classy short-wave radio dogs.

The diagram is on the back cover and somebody has the service manual perhaps he can send it to you or if not I could take a picture of it.

That schematic is in TSM-55 and takes up 13 pages.
Too much of a bother to scan and send. Best to get the issue on eBay from this seller:

No affiliation to the above, but they have the best prices on TSMs.

Thanks for the information. I am sorry, but I no longer have the radio to take a picture of the band selector knob.
