My grandma gave me a Precor micro radio when I was 8 y/o. They came out in 1965 and she didn't use hers anymore so I got it. I had it until I was 12 and it disappeared after a "friend" stayed the night. He thought it was very cool for a radio to be that small. Even though his mom searched his room it never turned up.
I used to listen to it under my pillow when I was supposed to be sleeping.
So 36 years later I scored one in perfect shape with the box, original carbon batts and the ear phone. So in a sense I got my radio back. I really don't need a mini AM radio but it's like getting a little piece of my childhood back.

It has a nice clean clear sound for it's size. And with all the OEM pieces it might be worth more down the road then what I bought it for.
