Hi: Anyone out there have any experience with a Becker model 612? F.M. works great but no reception on A.M. All the tuning modes seem to work with the digital display responding accordingly and there is a faint hiss in the speakers like the audio and I.F's are functioning. I did some google searches and it seems that this is a fairly common problem with this model. I have been a repair tech since the 1960's but have no service info. on this unit. Any help appreciated!...

Not familiar with your radio, but can you hear the L.O. on another AM radio? Unless the Becker is a collectible or a 'classic', I'd just replace it.
