There were a variety of crystal "Rocket Radios" produced in Japan in the '50's-'60's. The scan I posted was just off the internet, and not my own.
Actually I didn't pay close enough attention; the OP's reference was a "Hearever", the same as the eBay auction item that Mitch posted a scan of.
It appears like a plastic bead would
in fact look authentic.

I have the same rocket radio as you, but it is missing the suction cup looking thing. Is that all that is on the bottom? Maybe I can make something similar. I scanned my paperwork that came with it, if anyone wants a copy.
Hey Travis; some had a black suction cup on the bottom. If I recall, there would be a short round plastic protrusion on the bottom of the rocket, for the suction cups back to slip over.
You can get a suction cup of about that size at a dollar store, in the housewares area. They have them with hooks, so they can be stuck on a wall and used to hang things on.
