The schematic calls for .002 @ 600v and what's in the radio is a .1@ 600v.

Bill,
If you are referencing the coupling cap off the plate of the 12BF6 1st. AF amp tube, both Sams and Delco manuals call for a .002mfd ceramic disc capacitor. The change notes on my Delco manual do not note any changes for this capacitor. Is it possible you have the similar tuner section for a 55 (987086) or 56 (987364) passenger car Wonder-Bar radio which uses a .1 cap in this position? Stranger things have come across my bench!

Looks like you are correct Meade;

The knobs are for a 56 Chevy wonder bar.
