I picked up one of these on eBay, not working. It seems that Q41 is burnt so I need a service manual. Does anyone know where I can get it? Thanks.

Google shows several sites where the service manual can be downloaded for free. I tried this one and had no problems downloading it.

This model is notorious for having used poor quality surface mount electrolytic capacitors. Get ready to replace every one in this radio, including the one mounted inside the DC-DC converter can.

I started that process with mine. Finally got disgusted and gave the radio to a friend to use for case parts. I replaced it with the next newer model, ICF-SW 7600G, which has an easier tuning system and doesn't mute between station changing like the ICF-SW 7600GR. There are no issues with mass electrolytic capacitor failure, either. Got mine for a few dollars more than the projected parts cost to repair the '7600G. Never looked back.

YMMV.
