Nice find, and at a great price! You seem fascinated with the decals, so leave 'em on.

I guess I kind of am fascinated with the decals. Since Farmington, New Mexico (where I live) is an oil and natural gas center, the stickers, which other than the flag all have to do with the oil and gas biz, give the radio a bit of "local flavor". The address written on the name tag inside the back cover is even a Farmington address, so regardless of whatever trips around the nation and world the radio might have taken, it seems to have always come home to roost. The decals can't do any permanent damage, so I think I'll leave 'em.

I'll say! That Standard is just a beauty, and renowned for it's appearance as looking like it'll tip over forward.

Fantastic collection of transistor radios! I've never seen a photo of a Standard SR-F910. The Standard SR-F21 is one of the radios I'd most like to own.

A very nice gallery of little radios! Sharp, crisp close-ups. Very eye pleasing viewpoints and backgrounds. One of the top radio galleries for photo quality that I have seen on the web.

I'm curious. It looks like you prefer to take your radio shots indoors with sunlight coming through a window, is that correct? Or do you use artificial lights?

Also, what kind of camera do you typically use for taking pictures of your radios?

Actually IC not discrete transistor as such....a brand new Sony SRF-T615 as well as the Sony SRF-18.The T615 is credit card sized with a tiny speaker for private listening at a nice volume but the quality with a good pair of headphones is outstanding. The 615 is highly touted as an MW DX monster and believe me it will not disappoint.Stunning select ,sense and null. Can keep it in your pocket at all times which is nice. The larger SRF-18 has another renowned I believe 1129 Sony proprietary radio on a chip IC which delivers the same above average performance with an audio in and out for use as small amp.True two speaker stereo but very nice AM broadcast audio due to unique LO architecture and very wide bandwidth. Very pleased with both.....I was lucky enough to have the 18 given to me by a fellow who had two.The SRF-T615 was a dear 160.00 Canadian dollars shipped straight from Japan in 8 days. Most I have ever spent but it is sweet

Not really a new find, but yesterday I pulled out an old sentimental favorite and realized the dial cord was slipping too much to be even usable so I decided to replace it. I salvaged an old dial cord from a scrap radio and decided to tackle the restringing. Took about three cups of coffee but I got it restrung, dial tracks perfectly, pulls in stations on all bands and with my long wire plugged into the back it's really hot. Here's a couple pictures.

This Radionette Kurer Transi radio has exceptionally good sound with deep tone speaker looks like a 6 x 9 size.

I have finally found the last in my small collection. The TR-741. Now I can show all three.
Sony TR-74(1957, Maroon) MW/SW
Sony TR-741(1958, White with black mottling) MW/SW. Domestic market only.
Sony TFM-151(1958, Black). MW/FM. Possibly the first FM transistor radio.
As most of you know there is a lot more interesting detail on these at tabiwallah.com

It is the very impressive collection of flawless radios and paraphernalia owned by Michaeljpro impeccably presented with high resolution images and informative descriptions. I can't imagine the work involved to not only find the radios but also to create the jaw-dropping, on-line museum of extremely rare and sought-after radios that he has.

Thirteen pages of mostly Transistor radios in near mint condition. Where do you keep 'em all?
