Someone called me up today to try and sell me something I don't know anything about. It is a radio transmitter/receiver made by Simpson Electronics of Miami, FL and is a tube-type unit (Model 90). Does anything know anything about this? Does it have any value and how old is it? Also, what tubes does it use (maybe it is worth buying for the tubes?) Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks.

Marine radio-telephone. Simpson made them for the HF and VHF bands and they were popular on pleasure boats.

Maybe similar to this which is after they merged with Pearce. They were hybrid models then.
