inre the NC-44.....
I must need new glasses, Carl. That output tube is a 25L6...not a 6L6 as previously mentioned. Most of the resistors (dogbone) are way out of tolerance but after the recap, it's sounds pretty good.
Would you have any specs on the grid and screen voltages? I can't find them on the prints. Also, any alignment data would be appreciated. Why is it National didn't supply this on their schematic sheets? They mention it, and I could probably do it without it, but why guess?
...Jim

BAMA isn't mad at me. The NC44 is essentially an ac/dc set with or without an isolation transformer. As such the voltages should be about the same as any other ac/dc set. These radios were still common when I first became interested in this kind of thing. One of these days I'll go into the right junk shop and find one.

I had wanted to see what was listed for voltages on the NC-46, NC-80 and NC-81 manuals.

The BAMA schematics for the 46 and 80 don't show any voltages, the 81 wasn't listed.
