> I have seen pictures of your collection from time to time, very impressive pre-war collection you have.
Yes I do have a bunch of junk!!
> Know anybody with an original set of plug in Hamurlund coils for a 1933 Comet pro?
Can't say that I do. Might be easier to find the forms and roll your own. I forms do show up pretty often.
>Would this pre-selector work well with the RME 9D? I know both this model and the RME-69 are plagued with image frequency problems. I know RME made a matching pre-selector as well, sadly I do not have one.
Generally speaking the problems w/rejection get worst as the frequency gets higher. So something like a RME-152 might be a fun toy to play w/. Don't know if ur a ham or not but if you are looking a a good pre war receiver check out a HRO Senior. http://www.radioblvd.com/National%20HRO.htm
Am working on a cheap digital readout for my 1936 model. Just abt done just waiting on some rg-174 to arrive to hook it all up.
Hmmm the '175 may have a digital dial too...
See I'm not just a Philco guy!
