Quick question for anyone familiar with this unit. I have identified what appears to be a mica cap buried in the tar with the choke coil. There is one lead connected to the AC line supply side. The other lead, which is partly broken off, belongs to the cap which is good. I am presuming that this lead would have been connected to the DC (chassis) ground, ie from the center tap of the HV winding of the power transformer. Is this correct or was the other end of the cap intended to be connected somewhere else?
