I haven't really dug into this yet as its not a super big deal: Turn radio on and for the first couple of minutes the right dial lamp flickers and then stops and is fine. Otherwise the radio plays perfectly. I'm wondering if its simply a loose connection that perhaps "fixes" itself once the heat generated causes some expansion.

I had similar problem in few of my radios - it was some oxidation in the lamp holders.
