Hi Guy's,
Re-capped and replaced out of tolerance resistors on this radio, and everything seems to be working fine, but I think it should have more volume than it does.
Gets loud enough, but I think for a radio of this quality,it would have more.
Most of my other consoles have more volume than this one.
Is there something I could check?
I know I need a better antenna, but my others seem to work good on the single wire antenna.
Did not do an alignment as I don't have the tools required to do that, especially on a complex chassis like this one.

You have the answer, alignment. Also right on being a quality radio.

Might touch up IF transformer adjustments to give max volume without using test equipment.

With a proper aerial and ground and fully aligned, you should be able to "wake the neighbors."
Be sure all tubes are ok as well.

Norm on this one probably best that OP not adjust the IF's without a GOOD signal generator. Lest you foul up the AutoTune system.

Please find someone in your area that has the equipment to do a proper alignment on this excellent radio.
