Hi RN,
I can get you somepics of that in the morning. I have more than one I need to restore.

As far as I remember, the color wheel slipped on a shaft similar to the volume control half shaft. That way, it will be the correct position each time.
Will get the photos ASAP.

EDIT, RUnning late, will get them in a few minutes.

OK, sorry for the delay, been a hectic day.
The wheel is attached onto a slotted sleeve. On the shaft is a pin that goes through and sticks out of the sides of the shaft. (Mine needs to be pushed through just a little.

The pin goes between two of the slots so it does not slip.
Do you have your wheel or what? The wheel is curved, but could probably be made. Transparent paints are then used to color in the wedges.

You can see where I had to glue the wheel back onto the retainer sleeve.
Hope this helps you (or anyone) out.

Hi,
The disc originally just slipped over the metal sleeve and had a dot of glue on it.
I had to carefully glue it in the right place. You may be able to see where yours has broken off, and you can match it up.
That way, you can maintian the correct position of the colors.

Lube, and or clean the mechanical changer, contact clean the station selector switch.

Do you have your set recapped and working? They are a pretty cool set to have in your collection.
Take care,
