That explains some of the problems you were having.<P>Use the closest gauge you have. Wind it as neatly as you can, but don't worry if it doesn't look as neat as the factory did.<BR>Try to use the same length of wire, or count the turns.<P>Pete<P>------------------<BR>

Hi Ted<P> Sometimes one winding of an oscillator coil needs to have leads reversed. You need positive feedback from a winding which increases gain until it oscillates.<P>------------------<BR>Norm
