Hi Ted,<P>The "cut" dimension is what you would measure if you cut the belt and measured the length of it stretched out straight.<P>Several people have used O-ring material cut to the proper length and superglued together. If you do this, the 9 1/4" dimension is what you would use to cut the new part.<P>If you use a diagonal cut, make it very minimal. I prefer a straight cut myself.
