The amp chassis is 4G21...the 9 tube tuner chassis is 9H20...If anyone can provide a link or schematics, thanks in advance! I think the info may be in Sam's Photofact folder 607-2C. I also have this topic posted in Vintage Audio..but probably more 'traffic' here' to see it.

Suffix on models makes a huge difference in documentation research as you know. Link below to the amp chassis 4G21. Provide a little more info on other model numbers and I'll check, scan, and provide link.

Thanks Bill J., the amp schematic looks good. . I took pics of the tuner and tried to show the numbers that are stamped on it. I do see a label that is faded beyond readability and can see where a small label has fallen off. The basic 9H20 label is on the back, so I didn't shoot that. Hope this helps..I can list the tube line-up if that helps..let me know.

Edit: Found out that tuner shown above needs the 6AW8 instead of the 6EA8 to be the one I have.

Ok. Zenith can jack a person around trying to get the right data based on their use of assemblies in different configurations. Apparently you have a TV combo? SAMS 607-12 has a tuner chassis with a 6AW8 instead of a 6EA8. Now chassis 9H20LZ1 is clearly marked on a schematic in SAMS 645-14 with a 6EA8. So what's your pleasure. You can expect other changes perhaps but probably either will suffice. It will be a couple days before I get back to it, have a great grandson to entertain for awhile.

Thanks for the extra info Bill!...Yes, this does appear to be a stereo unit for a TV combo...I found a tube layout chart for a TV in a cove inside the set. This tuner does have the 6AW8 (not 6EA8)..I guess I need Sam's 607-12 to get this right. Take care of the GG son above all!! When he wears you out, let me know if you have the Sams 607-12 folder. :D
