Hi everyone,
I have 2 Zenith Circle of Sound Clock Radios, and on one of them, it has developed a weird problem. Whenever I hit the Sleep Switch, the clock loses its time (Flashes 12:00) as well as the alarm time. The radio comes on like it's supposed to, and the countdown timer appears. Could the clock IC be on its way out, or is something else failing? I have the sams for it, but Im still unsure where to start. FWIW, the backup battery has been replaced. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. The sets have a battery on board and if it goes open I think

you will see something like that happening. It has been a while since I did the

tune up on mine Good luck

Thanks!
That's interesting. I'll have to check the battery again. It is set up in such a way that I have a "AA" battery holder on the side of the unit, with a rechargeable battery in the holder, soldered up to the terminals on the inside. The other one is like that too, and it works perfectly (with the exception of the buzzer, don't really need it)
