So i found this Zentith consone at an antique store and I couldnt pass it up for only $7.50! The radio works really well, they had it playing on display, I do plan on recapping it very soon as it looks like its never been touched. The turntable needs the ususal cleanup and lube. The veneer is completely intact, nothing coming up or flaking off at the edges. It needs to have the lacquer redone, so what do you guys recommend as far as stripper and new laquer? Also, the platter has some sort of velvet like coating on it as the platter mat but it has a large scrape in it. I'm assuming I'll have to strip it all off and replace it somehow but I have no idea how to do this, any ideas?
