I use paint stripper to remove labels.I have done it many many times.Use a paste/gel type stripper ,I use strip-eze.Coat the label with a soft brush.Let it set for 15-20 minutes.Use a razor blade to get under the edge of the label.GENTLY lift up on the corner and work under the label with the razor blade firmly against the cabinet. The label will come right off.Set it aside and mop up the stripper gently with a paper towel.Let it dry overnight and voila! I use 3M #77 spray adhesive to put them back on.This works! try it on a parts set to get the hang of it.No, the stripper doesn't dissolve the ink.
