I have a Philco 62-48 that needs cabinet restoration. Did some of these have a "photo finish"? before I strip it off, I would like to know what I am getting into. If it does, what do I need to know before I begin? The finish is rather ornate in design, but I would like to keep the original look, if possible. Thank you! :?:

I think you mean 38-62 and yes, originally they had photo-finish on the front.
