I am trying to locate blueprints and/or a cabinet maker or service that can build wooden cabinets like those of old radios. They stood about 4 feet tall and were in the living rooms across America in the 30's and 40's (as seen in many an old movie). Looking to develop a prototype, and possibly limited production, of the type of cabinet described above, but with a tube-based audio amplifier only... no radio tuner.

I'm not sure exactly what brands were available (Zenith, Philco, etc), but would appreciate any on-line reference sources for a quick lesson on the brands/models that were offered back then.

This site has at least two plans for radio cabinets. Maybe this will get you started.
