Okay, just a quick update:
I have all the veneer that I need and have finished replicating the missing scrollwork. Also, I patched one side of the maple Burk veneer. Still some work to do, but it has come a long way.

Firs update in a looooooooooooooooooong time. I finally had time to work on this radio after I had finished several others. I have currently toned the walnut veneer on the radio and the base, top, and sides of the cabinet with Extra Dark Walnut toner. I have toned the maple burl veneer on the front with Medium Brown Walnut toner. I also masked off the original American Bosch logo, and have been able to save it. Tomorrow, I will add lacquer to the radio, and hopefully finish it off completely within the next week or so. I know there are quite a few small mistakes and color differences in the finish, but I feel that it is the best job that I can currently do, and it still looks a lot better than it did when I first got it. Sorry the image is so small and on its side. Picresize was down, so I had to use tinypic, which I am not familiar with.
