I saw where one member has the service manual available, but I'm unable to PM him to request a copy. If anyone can help, I sure could use it. My AA501 has gone south and needs some TLC. Thanks!

I think that was me. I deleted my copy after my unit was burned up in a fire. But I should be able to download another copy at work. I will check and get back to you.

Hey, tpratt .... Ed Lundsford, deceased, used to live in Lewisville TX. He was the "old man" of the Tektronix Dallas Service Center and probably knew more about the Tek 500-series than anyone at Tek, including the factory. I used to sit next to him at the Service Center and watch him rebuild 545s .... replacing entire TIME/DIV switches, attenuator switches, adjust delay lines ... when he got done with a scope, it was as though it just came off the assembly line in Beaverton.
