The roll chart light socket is missing in my Hickok 752A and I am trying to find a suitable replacement. Would someone please post a picture of this socket to help in my search?

Thanks!

Matthew

Pictures of the Hickok 752A light/holder pulled from the web. Looks like a night light or candelabra bulb. Would replace with a LED bulb to keep the heat down over the roll chart. Do not have a clear schematic for this tester, but looks to be 120V (so check voltage and insulate the lamp holder shell), in the 580 Hickok tube tester the roll chart and meter lights were 6V.

Thanks a million! Yes, the bulb is a 120V 'night-light' bulb. I am trying to keep the unit as original as possible, so I will try to find a correct socket, although, as you mention, the heat could be an issue so I think I will leave the bulb out or replace it with an LED one.
