I have a Metrix 310B tube tester with the proper Manual ..... and pages of Tube testing data .... one line per Tube, with the 9 Selector positions relevant to the Metrix tester, with Plate, Screen, Grid voltages, Plate current etc for appropriate test points.

Whilst most 7 pin, Octal etc tube information is included .... some 9 pin tube info is missing .... maybe the more modern tubes ... ?? Whilst I can generate the required data myself from Data Sheets, this is time consuming and more prone to errors.

My question is whether there are other lists of tube testing data available that would be usable with my Tube tester .... even if I have to translate selectors and pin position to suit the Metrix 310B??

Cheers,
Ian

Hi Dave,

Yes, I have that file.
As an example, 6HG8 equivalent to ECF86 (Triode / Pentode), doesn't appear in this file .... so I developed the data myself from a Datasheet. Okay for a few valves, but is a lot slower process.

Cheers,
Ian
