Hi, Jerry,
A Tektronix scope that's not a Tektronix? As in, a Lavoie or Hickok "copy" of the 545?
I suppose you'd prefer someone around Cheyenne? Looking through the latest copy of "Nuts & Volts" magazine, I find that Western Test Systems (2701 Westland Court, Unit B, Cheyenne 82001 307-635-2269) is a big seller of used test equipment. I don't know if they have repair and/or calibration services, though. You'll have to ask them about that.
Your closest spot for lots of that kind of stuff is probably due south in Denver. I used to see a lot of adds for outfits in Denver like that, but I think much of that business has fallen off because of the on-line auctions.
Feitek (2752 Walton Road, St. Louis MO 63114 314-423-1770 http://www.feitek.com ) is another possibility, but a lot farther away, especially if you're considering shipping 85 pounds of scope.
Dean

------------------
Oh, duh!! I reread the original post after a nap and everything clears up, Jerry! You didn't mean a Tek scope that wasn't Tek. You meant service from an independent lab and not from the manufacturer. I'm a little slow sometimes.
Dean

------------------
