My daughter and son-in-law just acquired a Magnavox Console that seems to be in great condition but the turntable has no needle. There are lots of numbers everywhere but I don’t know which one indicates the correct needle. They are on vacation and I was hoping to surprise them with a working turntable and some Dave Matthews Band on vinyl when they return but I’m running out of time. If anyone could tell me which needle to order I would appreciate it very much! I’m going to list all the numbers I found.

If you Google BG6561 you get this cross reference needle. You can Google that Pfanstiehl 369-DS77 number to find the best price...assuming it is the correct needle and the cartridge is orginal. There may be a number on the cartridge if you want to go to the trouble of getting it out to verify the needle cross reference.
