Hello,

I'm a new member on this board. I created a few months ago the blog "Ceints de bakelite" devoted to my 78rpm records collection. I collect 78's from every part of the world and try to find some of them in every foreign country I visit. I have posted until now recordings from China, Japan, USSR, Argentina, former Yugoslavia... I try to do some researches for each post about the artists, the historical and political context... My last post focuses on a recording by Soviet jazz singer Leonid Utesov.

Welcome to our forum. There are several collectors of 78's on the forum. I ran across some Chinese or Japanese 78's in a nearby antique mall for $1 USD each. No idea the artists etc. Thinking I'll go back this weekend and buy them and give them a spin.
