I have a Victor Radiola Electrola RE 57 which has a beautiful cabinet. I purchased this unit from a private party last year. The phonograph section of the unit is complete and in great condition and in place; however the entire radio, amplifier, and speaker components have been completely removed. I undrestand the tone arm of the unit has a Horseshoe Mangetic Pick up head. My question is can I find a substitute amplifier to install in this unit to make it work to play my 78 records with the existing phonograph? What would I look for if what I'm asking is possible? Thanks to anyone who can give me some answers to this question which I have.

If your guy with the PM can't help ypu, I have an RE-57 that I'm going to part out. It's complete, but came to me less tubes. I already have a good RE-57.
PM me, if no luck. I'm in Michigan, north of Detroit.
