So I recapped the amp and had to replace 2 broken resistors also. I hook everything back up using a new P228 cartridge and the motor spins great, no noise from the amp like before. I notice there is no sound now. I guess my next step will be to
bypass both the ext speaker and "aux" switch and wire the amp directly to the speakers as a test and double check the cartridge?
