Since spring is here, I have been swamped with work and have not had a day off in a while. I just had a full weekend so I took today off and decided to take a stroll through a seldom visited Antique Mall in Michigan I know of and luckily I picked up a couple nice RCA 45 things.

First was a couple nice early RCA colored 45s including what should be the first #1 RCA Little Nipper 45 released and #17 in the country series. I then spotted a little carrying case tucked in the corner of the upstairs. It was empty but looked about the size of a RCA 45 player. I took a peek inside and noticed what seemed to be the 3 feet marks in that familiar triangular pattern that RCA placed them on the 45 players. It was only $5 so I took a chance and when I got it home....BINGO I scored. It is a 7EY series optional carrying case, the best part is I have been searching for one of these. The pile of stuff cost me $7 and change, a good day off.

Here are three cases that I have. They are, of course for the 45EY2, and not the 7EY. The 45EY2 pm the left is odd, in that the logo on the motorboard says "Victoru" rather than RCA Victor. I have others that have names like Magnavox and Silvertone, but I have never before seen this. The arm and on/off/reject lever is a deep wine/maroon instead of Black.

Nice case collection you have there! I have the same green and red one they are the match of yours. As yours interesting the two cases are pretty different in design. I wonder if these were two different manufacturers. Neat how that brown one has the strap for the tone arm.

The one player is a Victory....just a company that sold a 45 player under their own name licensed from RCA. They are kinda rare but don't really bring much more then a regular RCA ey2 they are the same thing just different colors and name.

We should start a thread discussing the different style cases found for these little players...there is some neat ones out there.
