Looks like the photo has been reversed. The arm is on the wrong side. Unless the motor runs backwards.

It was put in wrong. Needs to be turned 90 degrees? Unless it was purposely done like that for someone who is lefty?

Its from a film and the recordplayer was actually playing, it would be playing backwards, i guess it was a mistake, it had me scratching my head for a while lol.

If the video was taken with a webcam, the image is usually reversed

Actually the Seeburg Selectomatic mechanism plays the B sides backwards but they have a special cartridge so the needle for that side mounts the opposite way.
