Lol, if I decide to sell it youll be the first to know. I saw a picture of it on an estate auction and from the pic it looked like a large tin sign, i looked all over and didnt see it anywhere, I was surprised to find out it was a small wood piece, would look very cool next to a breadboard if I ever get one.

This is a picture of a small poster I found folded up in the back of an old radio I bought at a 2nd-store. It's advertising of a different sort during World War II. Accompanying article explains what it was all about. Fun to unexpectedly find this kind of artifact. Anyone else have similar items? Art

I have an Ace, 50, 51, 52. Bought a Trirdyn from a crook and it was full of dead mouse urine and rotten, despite the superlatives. So it ended up as scrap after at least a partial refund. But I found a brochure for them that I like. This is the front sides.

Here's something from my Stromberg Carlson Displays. This is A Standee almost 4ft tall made cicra 1934-35. I also have the original Carpinchoe surround speaker cone that goes next to the ordinary speaker. I have some more to add hopefully after this weekend. some great stuff here! This is a real groovy thread!

Here's a couple. The first is a small freestanding metal Fada sign I just picked up with cardboard price inserts that slide into the top. Attachment:

The other is a set of 1937 Zenith matches that I always thought were pretty cool. Attachment:

I love signs. http://www.aladdinradio2.com/Signs.htmlI am currently reproducing the Clarion sign glass. The paint is usually in bad condition. Donald

Interesting topic... I've only come across a few items that seemed unusual over the years. Fada porcelain sign 24" x 20"x 1" Wood Mantola sign This item I found at an estate sale in Wisconsin among some old documents. I think it is either a trade show mock-up or a dealer's plan for a window display? Possible set-up: Cliff

Here's the original Marconi sign from the Marconi Wireless Telegraph Station in Chatham, Mass., it was erected out by the main entrance. It was first put in place in 1914, but was removed in 1917 during World War I. It sat in the basement of the main building until 1997, when MCI Co. sold the property. It is over 6 feet wide & weighs over 100 Lbs.!
