In my another thread I was asking questions if I should buy La voix de son Maitre or Supraphon. I decided to go probably with both of them.

Today I bought the Czechoslovakian Tesla Supraphon H 21.2. It is in very good condition. Previous owner replaced capacitor and sapphire needle/stylus for 16, 33 and 45 rpm. Speaker, box, rubber on idler wheel, power cord are very good condition.

The only thing is the button for adjusting speed was broken, so the owner replaced it with something else, and the needle for 78rpm needs to be replaced.
Supposedly it can still play 78s on the other needle just with lower volume. But currently I don't own any 78 record, so it is not a big problem for me.

]Do you maybe know where I could get the button and 78 needle or where I could look for it? Is this kind of stylus 78rpm unique for only this record player or I could put in some other one?

Here are some pics (sorry mobile phone is the only camera I have):

I do like it, Not sure but looks like a mono setup. But the needle could be for stereo. One place that mioght have the part not up if they ship out of the usa is voice of music. He is good and will most likly have a needle for it and might have a knob also,

For a slip mat check ebay and even amazon they ship most things to other parts of the world cheap.

Hi, thanks.
Yeah, I just read 1 hour ago that mono stylus and cartridge can damage stereo records and I only have stereo ones. I am looking for a solution, cause I am not sure that needle is stereo.
Also can stereo needle and mono cartridge work together? I am a little bit dissapointed about myself that I didn't look into that before buying. What do you suggest?
Also can damage be noticeable fast and 100%?

I've mounted a stereo stylus into a mono cart before. Sounded great and was safe to play stereo discs. It was one of those needles with the little horseshoe looking mount that goes under a screw on the cartridge.

This was my first project, maybe 15-16 years ago, and I knew practically nothing about the equipment, so I couldn't tell you what brands or numbers they were, sorry, but they worked!

Seller said first that is mono, then that is stereo. Some guy said it is mono. What do you think?

Its mono with twin speakers, that was quite common back then.
That player would probably sound pretty good with the lid down, those speakers are a decent size.
